Izdelovanju nakita se je Tara prepustila pred štirimi leti, a njena ustvarjalna žilica je tlela vse življenje. Odraščala je namreč v umetniški družini, oče se je večinoma ukvarjal z grafičnim oblikovanjem in fotografiranjem, mama s šivanjem in krojenjem. "Pustila sta mi veliko umetniške svobode, zelo rada sem risala, tudi po stenah stanovanja," pripoveduje Tara, ki se je zelo zgodaj vpisala na slikarski tečaj kranjskega umetnika Zmaga Puharja.

"Verjamem, da nakit, ki ga ustvarjam, odseva del mene, moje energije, moje duše."
